Located at Group 16 and Period 7 of the Periodic Table is one of the radioactive man - made element made in 2000. This is Livermorium.
First discovered by both scientist teams called Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California led by Yuri Oganessian and Ken Moody. Livermorium was also first created ( not isolated, since it is a man - made element ) in Dubna, Russia by both scientist teams too.
Not much information was obtained about Livermorium, but however, we know that the scientist at Dubna bombarded a Curium - 248 target with accelerated Calcium - 48 ions. When alpha - decay happens, a single atom was detected, which was after that called Livermorium atom.
Livermorium has a very short half - life, which its most stable ones is 53 milliseconds, which is very fast. So, Livermorium is only made for research purposes. Even until now, only a few atoms of Livermorium was made.

Physical Properties :
Not much information was obtained about Livermorium despite its short half - life, however, this are calculated in theories or predicted.
Livermorium got its name by its discoverer : Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. It's widely agreed that Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory contributed more and therefore Livermore's name should be based on Livermore National Laboratory's name, Livermore ( Livermorium ). Before May 31 2012, Livermore is called Ununhexium, because it is still unknown. Until May 31 2012, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry agreed to let them name Ununhexium Livermorium.

Uses
No known uses is to know for now as Livermorium is a man - made element with an extremely short life. However, we know that Livermorium is used in laboratory for research purposes. BUT, until now, no known commercial uses is to be known for Livermorium.
THIS IS THE END OF LIVERMORIUM
